First Communion Celebration
First Communion Celebration will take place May 12th during the 10:45 am worship service! Celebrate the Ascension youth in this program after worship service with treats hosted by the Youth and Adult Learning Committee.
Affirmation of Baptism
Affirmation of Baptism will take place Sunday, May 19th during the 10:45 am worship service for students enrolled in Ascension's confirmation program. A celebration of their Affirmation of Baptism will take place immediately after worship service and will be hosted by the Dienes family.
Sunday School (Summer break begins in June)
Youth Sunday School classes are Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. during the school year. Following the Augsburg Fortress Spark Lectionary, Ascension provides a safe and supportive environment for kids Pre-K - Sixth Grade to learn about Jesus and connect with one another. Youth Game Night
Fridays from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

ELCA National Youth Gathering
The ELCA Youth Gathering is back in New Orleans July 16 - 20, 2024! Join 30,000 other youth from around the country for prayer, fellowship, and fun. While the main event is set for 8th to 12th graders, this is the first year that we will be having a young adult gathering running parallel for those 18 - 35.
Barnabas Group
Barnabas is commended in Scripture as a good man, generous caregiver, and encourager. Ascension follows his example by continuing to care and support our students who have gone on to undergraduate college programs. Biannually, Ascension sends care packages to our young adults, letting them know they are still an important part of their Ascension family.
