Graduation Recognition
Ascension is proud of our graduates and will be recognizing their achievements May 17th at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday Worship Service. A reception in their honor will follow the worship service in Fellowship Hall.
Confirmation Sunday
Join Ascension in celebrating our 2026 Confirmation Class Sunday,
May 24th during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. A reception will follow in Fellowship Hall.
Vacation Bible School
Grab your hiking boots and join us as we explore the waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures of Rainforest Falls. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, we'll discover the nature of God, exploring what it means to be rooted in relationship with our creator and a refuge in life's storms. This year's VBS is June 22-26 from 6:15 - 8:15 p.m. Contact the church office to register your child.
Youth Sunday School
Following the Augsburg Fortress Spark Lectionary, Ascension provides a supportive environment for kids Pre-K - Sixth Grade to learn about Jesus and connect with one another. To enroll your child, complete the form below and return to the church office. Sunday School classes currently in session.
Teen Talk Group
Ascension's Teen Talk Group meets weekly to explore a variety of Christian subjects, encouraging teens to think about their faith and what it means as they go about their daily lives. Classes are held every Sunday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the Associate Pastor's office. All are welcome! (The last class will be May 31 before the summer break.)
Family Hot Dog+ Nites Return!
All are welcome to join us Wednesdays this summer for food, games, and fellowship at Ascension's Family Hot Dog+ Nites. This year's dates are June 10, 24, July 8, 22 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Thank you to the Youth & Adult Learning Committee for sponsoring this fun event.
Youth Game Night
Youth Game Nights take place once a month on Fridays from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Parents are welcome to stay or enjoy a night out. View our Events Calendar for exact dates.
Barnabas Group
Barnabas is commended in Scripture as a good man, generous caregiver, and encourager. Ascension follows his example by continuing to care and support our students who have gone on to undergraduate college programs. Biannually, Ascension sends care packages to our young adults, letting them know they are still an important part of the Ascension family.
