Homemade cards and handwritten notes are appreciated more than ever in this day of text messages and emails, especially by Ascension's homebound. You are invited to join others to make Christmas cards for Ascension's homebound on Monday, September 22 and November 17 from Noon - 3:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Ascension. Please bring a sandwich lunch. Chips and drinks will be provided. All materials, tools, and ideas will be provided. The cards will be delivered in December along with cookies. Also, the Worship and Music Committee is hosting card-making sessions on December 3, 10 and 17 (before the midweek Advent services) on those three Wednesdays. Exact time and types of cards to be made are still in the works. More details to come! Materials will be provided for the Advent card-making sessions.
