Youth Led Worship Service
Join Ascension youth as they lead the Sunday worship service, January 18 at 10:45 a.m. 10th grader Owen Andrews will lead the service and preach the sermon. To volunteer, contact Pastor Ken.
New Ascension "Teen Talk"
Join Ascension middle and high school students starting January 25th from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. for "Teen Talk". This new discussion based class will explore a variety of faith based subjects, encouraging youth to think about faith and what it means to them as they go about their daily life. All are welcome! Classes will be held twice a month in the Associate Pastor's office.
Youth Sunday School
Following the Augsburg Fortress Spark Lectionary, Ascension provides a supportive environment for kids Pre-K - Sixth Grade to learn about Jesus and connect with one another. To enroll your child, complete the form below and return to the church office. Sunday School classes currently in session. (Classes will not meet April 5 & 12 for Spring break. Classes conclude May 11 for summer break).
Confirmation Class
Fall Confirmation classes (also known as Affirmation of Baptism) have begun for Ascension 7th and 8th grade students. Classes are held in conjunction with St. John Church and will be held at both locations. For more information, please contact the Ascension Church office.
Youth Game Night
Youth Game Nights take place once a month on Fridays from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Parents are welcome to stay or enjoy a night out. View our Events Calendar for exact dates.
Barnabas Group
Barnabas is commended in Scripture as a good man, generous caregiver, and encourager. Ascension follows his example by continuing to care and support our students who have gone on to undergraduate college programs. Biannually, Ascension sends care packages to our young adults, letting them know they are still an important part of the Ascension family.
