2019 Hope Rising Concert

Tom Walsh and Todd Hildreth have both had their families affected by Cystic Fibrosis.

On October 26th, 2019, they provided this benefit concert at Ascension Lutheran Church to raise monies to fight this terrible disease. Along with Tom on saxophone and Todd on piano, they were joined by Chris Fitzgerald on Bass, and Mike Hyman on Drums.

2019 ALC Jazz Fest!

The Second Annual ALC Jazz Festival will feature a variety of local and touring artists.

The festival will include two simultaneous stages - one indoors and one outddor.

Music starts at 4PM.

There will be local food trucks and the Goodwood Brewing Company will be there to provide delicious eats and libations. So grab a blanket, chairs, your family and friends, and come join us at this special event. Suggested ticket price is $10.

Bellarmine University Faculty Jazz Concert

Our own Todd Hildreth led his fellow faculty members from Bellarmine in a wonderful set of jazz pieces, including some originals written by these players.
Todd was joined by Dave Clark on sax, Terry O'Mahoney on drums, Sonny Stephens on bass and Craig Wagner on guitar.

Jazziest Jazz Fest

The inaugural ALC Jazziest jazz festival was held from 4-10pm on Saturday, July 7, 2019.  Local and touring artists offered simultaneous concerts on indoor and outdoor stages at Ascension. Local food trucks were available, as was the Goodwood Brewing Co.


The music was amazing, as was the turn out!

Chris Roseland

Chris Roseland holds a BA from Bellarmine University and a Master of Music degree from the University of Louisville. He has been invited by organizations such as the Louisville Guitar Society, University of Kentucky Guitar Society and Bellarmine University Music Department as a featured soloist. During the 2013 Guitar Foundation of America Festival, Chris, along with the University of Louisville Guitar Ensemble, premiered Gerald Garcia “Blue Nose Ballads” before an evening concert of Aniello Desiderio. In 2014, Chris graduated from the University of Louisville with a Masters in Classical Guitar. Chris has been lucky enough to experience master classes with a great deal of brilliant artists such as Marcin Dylla, Dale Kavanagh, Denis Azabagic, and Oscar Ghiglia. He has placed and won prizes in competitions such as the University of Louisville, University of Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, and Eastern Carolina University International Guitar Festival and Competition. Chris began teaching at Transylvania University in the Spring of 2017.
