Our own Todd Hildreth led his fellow faculty members from Bellarmine in a wonderful set of jazz pieces, including some originals written by these players.
Todd was joined by Dave Clark on sax, Terry O'Mahoney on drums, Sonny Stephens on bass and Craig Wagner on guitar.
Saxaphonist Tom Walsh and Pianist Todd Hildreth have both had their families affected by Cystic Fibrosis.
On October 20th, 2018, they provided this benefit concert at Ascension Lutheran Church to raise monies to fight this terrible disease. They were joined by Chris Fitzgerald on Bass, and Terry O’Mahoney on Drums.
The inaugural ALC Jazziest jazz festival was held from 4-10pm on Saturday, July 7. Local and touring artists offered simultaneous concerts on indoor and outdoor stages at Ascension. Local food trucks were available, as was the Goodwood Brewing Co.
The music was amazing, as was the turn out!
Included were the following groups:
The Ron Jones Quartet
Dave Stryker Quartet
Dick Sisto and Andy Laverne
Corey Christiansen Trio
Tom Walsh/Todd Hildreth quartet
Plan to attend next year's performances!
