Having fun and sharing it with others is very important.  Did you know potluck dinners are one of the best ways to have fun?  Consider Easter Breakfast, Summer Cookouts, Ice Cream Socials, Chili Cook-offs, Thanksgiving Luncheons, and of course the annual Church Picnic and Rally Day.  If you find this appetizing this may be your committee.

Would you like to share church happenings with the world?  How about being a "conduit" for each of the church committees to convey their news to our church family?  You might enjoy reaching out to visitors to welcome them back to ALC.  If you like electronic media and people, this may be your committee!

Do you like working with numbers?  We help make sure bills, mortgage payments, insurance, payroll & payroll taxes are accurately and timely paid.  Our volunteer "counters" also properly record offerings and gifts and deposits.  So if you like working with people and with numbers, this may be your committee! 

Taking Christian adventures and learning important life lessons along the way is what we do.  From Vacation Bible School to Teen Week of Service to mission trips to new member classes to Sunday School, First Communion and Confirmation Class.  Why not take your next adventure with this committee? 

Do you like working with your hands?  Why not use them to maintain/improve our physical church.  We have annual cleanup days in the spring and fall.  Our meetings are agenda based to plan projects that are completed via volunteers or via paid pros.  Safety is top priority followed by fun and fellowship.  This may be your committee!

Why are Habitat for Humanity, Churchill Downs Easter Egg Hunt, Red Cross Blood Services, and Prayer Shawls Ministry important?  The answer is simple - our focus is service and these are just a few of the things we do.  This may be your committee!

Want to help people discover the unique gifts God has given them?  And how these unique gifts might be used to fulfil God's plan for them?  If you are good at "seeing the bigger picture" and helping others to do the same, this may be your committee!

You make a difference!  Like to sing and have fun?  Join the choir!  Like to greet people with a smile?  Be an usher!  If your fingers can press keyboard keys, the Media Team would love to train you!  Perhaps you'd rather help "behind the scenes" by planning worship services or by baking communion bread.  This may be your committee!
