What Do Lutherans Believe?

As Lutherans, we believe we are saved by the grace of God, not by works or anything we can do.

Although we cannot help that we are sinful in nature, when we believe in Jesus Christ and his atoning death on the cross for our sins, we receive the gift of salvation, and help and guidance from the Holy Spirit leading us into Godly living and service.

We know that when we fail we fully can seek forgiveness, and God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
